The big picture

** :flushed: Hey guys!

Ok. Just downloaded Paradox {havenā€™t run it yet though} and have some questions. Iā€™m actually writing a novel {kind of a first person narrative with music and poetry included} about the life of Jim Morrison {for those of you who may not be aware I am referring to the poet/vocalist for the Doors}. It is called ā€œThe Wandering Musicianā€ and eventually I want to make a film out of it using 3D animation. So my questions:

  1. Jim Morrison has blue eyes and long brown hair. Can I put long hair on male figures with Paradox??

  2. Can I convert bmps to 3D?? Asking because Iā€™m not sure if Paradox would have vintage clothing and hairstyles or houses and furniture.

For clothing I need:

Jeans and T-shirt
Polka dot dress
Flat shoes
Square heel shoes
Suit and tie {all colors}
Housedress
Formal dress {velvet dress}.

I think what you would need is a a 3d modiler an texture to do what you are asking. Paradox game engine is a physics engine without assets.

No game engine will create 3D models for you, you should raise them in a 3D modeler, and then import them into the engine.
Some good examples are:
Blender <---- Free
Maya <------- Paid
3ds Max <ā€” Paid

PS: You can not convert bmps in 3d models, it is impossible, you need to model them yourself!
