No. The Editor is uploaded in Ram but won’t start. no error message, nothing.
Had similar problems with AVAST antivirus software. I just added Xenko and my custom xenko projects directory on drive d: into allowed programms. If it’s your case, you can simply verify that by turning your antivir software for 10 mis for example, and try run the project.

Recently when making Xenko run on my second laptop I discovered the following.
Your Windows whatever version it is 8, 8.1 and probably 7 should have all the latest updates installed. Apparently what’s matter is the latest security updates. Then c++ redistributable 2013 and 2015 should be installed without error. Moreover, c++ redist 2015 fails to install if not all windows updates are downloaded and installed. Having got sure that everything’s OK with your Windows you should reinstall Xenko. And to be on the safe side add Xenko in exclusion list of your antivir software.
