Hello, i’m trying to run Xenko, i’m not making any game, but i’m working on a short video and some architectural previz.
I installed Xenko 1.92, but when i press start nothing happen. I tried to install Visual Studio, but i’m not sure what version i need.
Does i really need Visual Studio if have nothing to script/code etc…?

The bare minimum you need is a 64bit Windows operating system and to install Xenko. The latest version of Xenko (1.9.x) even includes a C# script editor. Although it does not include a debugger so you would need something like Visual Studio for that. If you decided to install Visual Studio the “free” Visual Studio 2015 Community Edition is fine. That’s what I use.
