Trouble installing

Having issues installing the exe from the main website page. Paradox version 1.0.0-alphaxx

WIN7 64
I have VS express installed.
The paradox setup screen has 3 items selected to install.
Download - Visual C++ Red. 2012 x86
Install - MS portable lib pack
Install - MS portable lib pack lib

For the Visual C++ Red, the 2013 x86 and x64 are already installed and not selected in the screen.

On the Prerequisites Download screen is where i get the error.
‘Some prerequisites could not be downloaded. You can try again or remove them from your prerequisites list.’

I also cannot uncheck it, says it is mandatory.

Tried to find the 2012 package else where, but not having any luck, MS is only showing the update download, not the 2012 version.

I downloaded the Visual C++ Redistributable for visual studio 2012 x86.
And installed it.

And the prerequisite settings window still wants to download and will not let it be unselected for download.

Getting the Update 4 from MS for the visual c++ redist pack 2012. fixed that issue.

Now i get error with windows installer on the
Microsoft Portable Library Mutli-Targeting Pack.

The library issues fixed.
Windows Update was not seeing the update 4 for .net 4.5.
So did a self update and that worked.

Paradox installed and ready to go.

Thanks for the report.

If we can reproduce it, we’ll make sure to update the installer check for this prerequisite.
