Well according to the road map on the trello board https://trello.com/b/FwbjOjjB/xenko-roadmap Networking is still just a wish list item.
I actually worked on it for a few months. It has been paused tho because of other priorities.
There is already an internal branch with some working stuff. Still needs more work but we will get there.
Are you guys using something stable and battle-tested like RakNet or kNET, or are you rolling your own?
I have a project working with SignalR and a self hosted Owin server in Azure. Haven’t been able to performance test it.
I’m unsure it would hold up under high volumes, but it’s what I already know. If ever I have to solve high traffic that means my project was a success
I hope the network support will indeed something existing (with existing good documentation and community) and freely hostable.
