This is a wish come true for me., I’ve done level design with Doom, and have played around with the Unreal Engine for many years, but a C# engine intrigues me to the point of no return, mainly I have an upfront concern for optimization and efficiency? can somebody point me to some benchmarks or comparisons?
Unity is a C# engine and seems to run decently. That’s just the first thing that crops to mind, I don’t have anything more technical to offer
Unity is built in C++ the scripting language they use is C#/mono. All their rendering and processing is done via c++.
