Does github build work without installing the official version launcher?
Yes it does. You’ll be able to launch from Visual Studio or manually double-clicking on the executable.
But I’d recommend installing the launcher as it will also be able to detect the local build. The launcher is lightweight and you won’t need to install any released version.
