This is my first time here, so be gentle.
I downloaded the installer from the website and after then i am stuck at the screen where i am supposed to download 3.1 or 4.0 version. There is no progress or anything indicating i am actually downloading something.
How do i fix this?

Could you post a screenshot and details on actions you are taking?

The most helpful thing would be for you to download something like OBS (Open Broadcaster Software | OBS) and screen capture yourself trying to make xenko work. Alternatively, you can use nvidia shadowplay if you have that. Then upload it to youtube as an unlisted video and post it here.
If it’s user-error, we would love to help you figure out why, and also understand how the UI could be improved. If it’s an actual bug in the launcher, we want to know so we can fix it.
